Here is a collection of all of my personal photo projects. I am completely self-taught with a personal passion for this medium.
While studying abroad in Berlin, my friend Marcel and I traveled to Athens together for the week of Spring Break. Our days started with me cooking us breakfast and Marcel cleaning the dishes before we head out and explored the city. As theatre artists, being in Athens was incredibly ethereal experience. We sat in the audience of the Theatre of Dionysus for an hour marveling at the stage where works such as Antigone, Elektra, and Medea originated. Shot on Pentax k1000 with Ilford Delta 3200
Southeast Asia Highlights
During my trip to Southeast Asia, I traveled to: Singapore, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Wat. I took my Pentax k1000 with me along the way shooting on Portra 400 and FUJI Pro 400H. Southeast Asia holds a deep and sacred space in my heart because it is where my mother and ancestors originated from. Journeying there, I stepped into a realm of my own past. While on my trip I was primarily listening to the Serial Podcast from NPR Season 1.
Growing up on the Mission-side of Bernal Heights I was always surrounded by a latinidad from preschool to high school. Every year I would go watch Carnaval in La Mission. My friends performed and continue to perform in Carnaval each year. Here's a small tribute to the first year I went to Carnaval after I moved from San Francisco. Fais du Sneak
In the Spring of 2015, during my senior year of high school, I spent two weeks on an exchange program in France. This is a selection of my favorite photos from Paris. I now speak fluent french and attempt to visit as often as I can. France holds a special place in my heart. While on this trip I mostly listened to George Ezra's album, Wanted on a Voyage.
