Here is a collection of all of my personal photo projects. I am by no means a professional photographer and am completely self-taught, but I have a personal passion in this creative form
Southeast Asia Highlights
During my trip to Southeast Asia, I traveled to: Singapore, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Wat. I took my Pentax k1000 with me along the way shooting on Portra 400 and FUJI Pro 400H. Southeast Asia holds a deep and sacred space in my heart because it is where my mother and ancestors originated from. Journeying there, I stepped into a realm of my own past. While on my trip I was primarily listening to the Serial Podcast from NPR Season 1.
Growing up on the Mission-side of Bernal Heights I was always surrounded by a latinidad from preschool to high school. Every year I would go watch Carnaval in La Mission. My friends performed and continue to perform in Carnaval each year. Here's a small tribute to the first year I went to Carnaval after I moved from San Francisco. Shot on the Pentax k1000 with Portra 400.
Fais du Sneak
In the Spring of 2015, during my senior year of high school, I spent two weeks on an exchange program in France. This is a selection of my favorite photos from Paris. I now speak fluent french and attempt to visit as often as I can. France holds a special place in my heart. While on this trip I mostly listened to George Ezra's album, Wanted on a Voyage. Shot on the Pentax k1000 with Portra 400.
